From morning till the night, the city rolls with working men and women. Believe me, it is truly inspiring to see the crazy crowd on the roads and in local trains, prepared for a full day of hard work in the office. People there are versatile, hard working and cooperative. They know to how survive under all circumstances and possess a never say die spirit. The hustle bustle, the beautiful beaches and the incomparable night life act as fuel for your dreams. My Internship in Mumbai, brought me face to face with these amazing aspects of the city.

According to me, working in Mumbai would be the best option. It would be an enriching affair. You wouldn't be able to help yourself but to fall in love with the city. My Internship in Mumbai was for a brief period of time and I pursued it to gain an understanding about the working of an organisation and had an experience that left an incredible mark on my personality. The role of the organisation in this aspect was significant, but what I learnt in this short period of time, is that a city also has much to add to your individuality. Mumbai has a warm heart and makes space for everyone. The sense of affection you will generate for the city will be unmatched, even if you stay there for a few months. The city will leave a significant impression and influence on your life.

How a Virtual Internship Course Turned My World Around?

My peers, family and relatives always advised me about the importance of an internship. Though, I paid heed to them but never quite understood the potential and importance of an internship, until recently. After completing my higher secondary, I was confused and couldn’t really choose a field to make my career in. Though I was a social media buff, I never thought of it as a career option. This confusion led me to take up admission in an engineering college. I was not really sure of my decision and decided to take up the course, because engineering is a professional course and it more or less guarantees a job after completion. How I prepared for my first job with an Internship

I had just finished off with my second year of graduation, when my elder brother told me to buckle up for a job. It is because, I have always been that kind of a person, who wants to have fun and completes his assignments just one night before the submission. In short, I have never been the sincere type and the thought of sincerity and responsibilities scared me. But, when I gave a thought to what my brother had said earlier, I got coupled further into a series of thoughts, which made me realise that now was the time to take up a few responsibilities. By the time the summer break arrived, I had given over ten interviews. It was a good feeling to be shortlisted in three out of ten interview sessions. My interviews scared me. The moment I entered it felt completely different and one could sense responsibility and pressure amongst the co-workers.

Though the duration of my internship was of one month, it felt like years. But I constantly made myself stronger, fighting against all odds. After the graduation was over, I was able to grab a job through the placement cell of our college.
